The layout of the new dual carriageway is located approximately 2 km below (over the Dúrcal River) from the area where the four previous bridges were located. They have also been designed by the technical office of Mr. José Antonio Torroja, and there are a pair ways (one per road) with a straight alignment, like the previous ones, and with three vertical truncated cone piers. Its total length is 310 m.
They have been made with a similar system, according to the project, but they change the paired prismatic piers of rectangular section for other hollow frustoconical ones.
At the foot of the highway there is the Canal that was made to transfer water to the Valley in compensation for the construction of the Béznar dam.
