Made up of Restabal, Melegis and Saleres, the municipality of El Valle is a spectacle of aromas and colors, and to enjoy it we stayed at Casa Tagomago, a beautiful rural tourism house from which it will be very easy to understand how people live in this "Valley of Joy".
Here you can breathe the orange blossom, you can hear the water running through its fields, its ditches, its streets. Culture is breathed, in its Mozarabic past, in its traditions, in its innovations; the Beca al Raso that brings youth and art to these towns, the La Bolina association, a project that speaks about social integration, ecological agriculture, commitment to the environment and to human being.
We will visit one of the most emblematic restaurants in the area, los Naranjos, from the hands of its managers, the Vallejo brothers, and we will taste some of its most representative dishes, such as cod, pajuna veal or its salads and desserts with citrus overtones. And to wash it down we will walk throught the Azahar route, one of the many hiking routes that this Valley offers and one of the softest and most flowery.
