Dúrcal is one of the most commercial municipalities in the Lecrín Valley and for this reason it has numerous industries, mills, cooperatives... such as Almendras Alhambra, a cooperative that is in charge of managing the numerous almond trees from the area.
And with one of their managers we will chat, at the foot of the field, about varieties, risks, uses and other curiosities of great value.
On this occasion, the Gastronomic part is developped by El Rubio from "La Buhardilla", one of the most famous gastronomic corners in the Lecrin Valley. We chatted with him, we laughed with him, we tasted dishes like his suckling pig or his wife's cheesecake, both two very solid references at a minimum provincial level.
And we finish off this experience by making an almond pesto at Casa del Sol, as an idea of the versatility of this little gem.
