At Horse Riding Palmalí we would like to show you our town and our region. So that little by little, you can discover the footsteps of our ancestors: Romans, Muslims and Nasrids, with their Aqueducts, Baths, Castles, Watchtowers, etc.
We immerse ourselves in the narrow gorges of rivers and streams, letting ourselves be carried away by crystal clear waters. On our descent, we feel ecstatic with the beauty, enjoying it all like children in water.
Get lost among the pines and forget about everyday noise and problems, fill your lungs with fresh air, delighting in the perfumes of aromatic plants and pine forests.
We have our own horses for riding and showing you our mountain ranges. From the top of these mountains we’ll contemplate our region and the neighbouring villages.
To enjoy our town (Albuñuelas) and the Lecrin Valley, we offer you a "local guide", adapting to your physical condition or preferences.

Saleres:
→ Approximate duration: 2 hours.
→ From Albuñuelas to Saleres through high mountains. The return is made along the river.
La Cuerda del Pozo Seco: → Approximate duration: 3 hours.
→ On this route you can see the Lecrín Valley and Granada.
Tres Lindes:
→ Approximate duration: 4 hours.
→ On this route you can see the Granada coastline and on clear days the mountains of Morocco.
→ Recommended only for experienced riders.
Pozo Herrero:
→ Approximate duration: one day (5 hours on horseback, plus breaks, lunch, ...)
→ Pozo Herrero is one of the highest points in the region.
→ One day route. Includes lunch.
Romantic Getaway:→ Route for couples. Includes dinner and double room with breakfast at Los Naranjos Restaurant (Melegís).
→ Route of 2 hours on horseback in the morning.
→ Any day of the week
Weekend with Rides:
→ Approximate duration: weekend (Friday night until Sunday lunch approx.)
→ On Friday evening, participants are received at Hostal Restaurante Los Naranjos de Melegís.
→ You spend the night in the hostel on a full board basis with the inhouse menus and a double room.
→ On Saturday morning there is a 2-hour horse ride.
→ On Saturday afternoon another 2-hour horse ride.
→ On Sunday there is a 3-hour horseback ride until lunchtime, which is included.
→ All tours start in Albuñuelas.
Route between Azahares and Romeros-(Orange Blossom and Rosemaries):
→ Approximate duration: weekend (Friday night to Sunday afternoon).
→ Only for people with experience in horse riding.
→ Arrival on Friday night at the Hostal Los Naranjos de
Melegís Restaurant.
→ On Saturday we leave from Albuñuelas to Jayena on a route of more than 30 km.Return on Sunday.

On these routes you can visit part of the town of Las Albuñuelas with its narrow streets and balconies full of
flowerpots. Passing through the fertile plain enjoy the greenery of the valley between centenarian olive trees, orange trees and all kinds of fruit trees, discovering the ancient paths through which our ancestors walked to care for their farms and as a way of through the neighbouring villages and communication from the coast to Granada.
