Las Albuñuelas is the largest municipality in terms of extension and perhaps the most “wild,” because it is surrounded by mountains, which is why it is known as "the lungs of the Valley".
We take Hacienda La Esperanza as our base camp and from there, we will learn about the past, the history of this municipality; a fascinating story.
To satisfy our most gastronomic appetites we will visit the Mesón los Prados, located in the Sierra Almijara on one of the most beautiful roads that can be found, "Carretera de Sierra", runs the route between Granada and Almuñécar - The capital and the Coast - in an atmosphere of goats, pilgrims, rocks and spectacular views. We taste, well, Carmen Maura tastes a masterful oxtail, a ratatouille grown in the middle of the mountains... So, we will give ourselves once again a good banquet.
We are going to visit Huerto Alegre, a wonderful project that aims to bring families and children closer to the coherence of life in peace with nature. And we are going to ride a horse on a beautiful route at a trot; an unforgettable experience.
