The paintball game

Do you want to play paintball in Granada? Dare yourself with Paintball La Batalla de Lecrin.

You can play paintball in one of the most realistic paintball settings in Andalusia. You only need  a group 6 people or more and we do the rest: semiautomatic markers, camouflage suits, masks, gloves, bibs and all the paintballs you need. Paintball is one of the safest outdoor activities that exists. It is recommended for people over 12 years old, and those under 16 will need authorization from a responsible adult.

We will divide into two groups to play the different games and achieve the different objectives such as capturing the flag, the officer, the doctor, storming the fort, conquering the tank ... etc. There are infinite games, it depends on the imagination. Hide among the graves, move through the trenches, get on the train or enter the tank, whatever it takes to achieve your goal.

It is one of the best sports help de-stress, because in addition to a lot of running, you have to put into practice ingenious tactics to beat your opponents and win the game.

Elimination of players:

Players eliminate each other from the game by hitting their opponents with a paintball that breaks on impact and leaves a visible paint mark on them. The rules about how large a paint mark must be to be considered a valid hit may vary, but they don't count paint marks left by a ball that breaks against any other object before hitting the player, known as splatter.  When a player is marked, they are removed from the game.

Most of the rules consider that any part of the body is a valid target , the clothes, the equipment or any object that the player carries or wears. This includes your feet, marker, backpack, or an object taken from the field. Some variants do not consider the targets on the marker or the head, or on some areas of the body, such as anywhere except the torso, or require more than one target on certain areas of the body for the player to be eliminated. These special rules must be agreed at the start of the games.

If a player is not sure whether a mark they have received is a valid target or not, either because the mark comes from a splash, because they cannot see that part of the body where they were hit or because the shot came from a player who has already been eliminated, you can ask a referee or a teammate to determine whether the target is valid or not. This action is called paint check and is usually requested by shouting these words to a nearby referee. Some rules allow the referee to declare a player neutral during a paint check so that they can be examined  more closely, since when a player is neutral, they must temporarily leave the game while being examined, so that they cannot shoot nor other participants shoot them.

Players can also be eliminated from the game for other reasons, such as self-elimination by yelling, being hit by grenades or paint mines (if the game allows their use), or for an infraction, such as leaving the field or leaving the starting point before the start of it.

Surrender:

Some rules require that a player at a certain distance from an opponent who has not seen him (usually 5 to 7 m) must ask him to surrender (by shouting a previously agreed phrase) before shooting him. If the opponent agrees verbally or by raising their hands or marker, they are considered hit and eliminated from the game. Conversely, if they refuse or attempt any hostile action (such as turning to fire), the player who requested surrender can fire. However, while waiting for a response, this player may be hit by other players' shots. Being hit from such close range by a paintball can be painful, and it is considered polite and good sportsmanship to offer the opponent the opportunity to surrender whenever possible rather than shoot them unnecessarily from too close range.

Surrender is not contemplated in almost all tournaments, and if a player catches the opponent off guard, he is free to shoot. Tactics such as the run through, which consists of running across the field shooting as many opponents as possible, have developed over time and are very important. Another popular move is bunkering, in which a player charges into a bunker or barricade behind which an opponent takes cover and shoots at him from above or from the sides. These rules are not contemplated in professional paintball and are usually only applied in recreational games.

Security rules:

As in many other sports, safe participation in a paintball game requires observance of safety rules. The likelihood of being injured in other popular team sports is much higher:

1. Fit the mask well to avoid injuries to the face.

2. Have insurance in place before starting to play.

3. Always have the gun pointed downwards.

4. Respect distance or touch with the weapon or hand a nearby enemy.

5. Be over 14 years old to be able to play.

6. When you are shot one time, you lift the marker.

7. Do not remove the mask during the game, even if you have been marked.
